Singapore fully recognizes the water and environmental challenges facing a world of limited resources and a growing population. It is being proactive in meeting these challenges by actively developing a community of high quality workforce, researchers and practitioners. In response to market needs, the Diploma in Water Technology is offered as a new, cutting-edge course that provides the opportunity to understand these challenges and to find environmentally balanced solutions.
Graduates of this course will achieve good grounding in key areas of water technology, waste management & resource conservation, renewable energy, pollution monitoring & control, and environmental management, health & safety. The programme is infused with multidisciplinary elements to create well-rounded graduates who are highly valued by the industry for their analytical and problem-solving skills.
ACCREDITATION
This Diploma is accredited into the Environmental Engineering programme at NTU, and comes with selective exemptions. Graduates are also eligible to apply for other non-engineering courses, including Arts, Law and Business courses offered by NTU.
