The May Day Model Workers Award recognizes and rewards outstanding and deserving role model workers for their contributions in Singapore. The NTUC, together with key industry partners, has spearheaded the presentation of this Award since 1996. This year, we will be incorporating workers from all collars, ages and nationalities which display Labour Movement values and attributes of being caring, passionate, working people centric, trustworthy, strong, inclusive, innovative and enterprising. We also recognize that many organizations have made tremendous efforts to support tripartite efforts e.g Advantage! Scheme, Tripartite Alliance for Fair Employment Practices (TAFEP) and Lifelong Learner. Thus deserving organizations will be recognize under the Company Commendation during the award.
