Introduction
The National Workplace Safety and Health WSH) Campaign 2007, from 20 April to 24 May 2007, is a high profile activity-filled annual affair to promote safety and health at workplaces. It is organized by the Workplace Safety and Health Advisory Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower.

“Thinking and breathing safety and health at workplaces at all times” is the sort of culture that the Campaign aims to help cultivate. Such a strong workplace safety and health culture will help propel Singapore to the WSH standards that are achieved by the top WSH-performing nations in the world.

WSH 2015
This year, WSHAC proudly presents the 10-year strategic roadmap for WSH in Singapore – WSH 2015.
Jointly developed with MOM and incorporating comments from industry stakeholders and the International Advisory Panel, WSH 2015 sets the key directions and four main strategies to help Singapore achieve its target to halve fatality and injury rates by 2015.

Support for WSH 2015 through
Book of Pledges

For the first time, the National WSH Campaign will actively seek commitment towards safety and health through the “Book of Pledges”. All organisations and employees from all levels are encouraged to make a pledge and highlight how they will support WSH 2015.

- An employer can commit to implementing proper safety and health systems
- A worker can pledge to always follow safe work procedures.

When you do your job
Remember safety first

Always look, think,
then you do

Working safely with a smile

For colleagues and
your loved ones
Chorus:
SHINE at work,
do your part today

There’s a role for you and me

Safety and health
involves everyone

Be as safe as you can be
Rap:
SHINE at work

Safety and Health
for you and me

SHINE, that’s right

Safety and Health
for all to see
“SHINE@work - Safety & Health involves everyone @ work”

This campaign theme reminds all stakeholders - employers, professionals,
engineers, supervisors, workers - that safety and health at the workplace needs the
involvement of everyone. The Campaign also brings across the benefits of a safe
and healthy workplace.

“A safe & healthy workplace is the best reason to smile”
will be headlining all promotional efforts.

Wide spectrum of informative talks, workshops and events
