At NTUC, we believe that training and skills upgrading not only enable workers to possess relevant requirements for the job and industry, they also play an important role in shoring up workers’ self confidence and self belief.
Enhancement of skills also means that workers will find it easier to move into a job, move up the ranks, move between companies or move across to other industries, which requires manpower needs.
As part of the Tripartism efforts, NTUC work with unions and companies in identifying workers’ training needs and implement training programmes, which help enhance the employability of the workers. Members who initiate their own learning and skills upgrading will also get support from the NTUC to see them through their learning journey.
