NTUC Media Co-operative Limited was established in 1997. It has two principal business activities – publishing and events management.
It produces on behalf of NTUC, "NTUC This Week", "Just U" and "May Day Annual". It also manages and produces "Lifestyle" (separate English and Chinese editions). NTUC Media also undertakes the conceptualisation, design and production of coffee table books, annual reports, brochures, posters, and other printed literature.
The Cooperative has been active in developing event concepts for specific industries to undertake as their marketing platforms. Examples include "My CPF & Me", the financial educational outreach programme of CPF in 2004 and 2005 and "Gen3 Festival", the launch of the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports’ National Family Week 2005, and currently, "MoneySENSE 2006 Roadshow", which is part of "MoneySENSE", the financial education programme launched by the Singapore Government in October 2003 and which has been repeated yearly.
NTUC Media holds a stake in the joint-venture company, UnionWorks Private Limited, that owns, manages and operates the two radio stations, "WKRZ91.3" and "UFM1003".
