Terms and conditions

  1. The NTUC Union Membership Referral Programme (the "Promotion") is open to NTUC Union Members who are not in arrears of their membership fees ("Members"). This Promotion is not open to referrals for NTUC Family Membership and nEbO members.

    Promotion Period

  2. The qualifying period for this Promotion is from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024, both days inclusive ("Qualifying Period").

  3. Eligible NTUC Union Members who introduce one or more contacts via NTUC's website in accordance with these terms and conditions are eligible to participate in the Promotion within the following period:

  4. From 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024, members will be entitled to receive one $30 FairPrice Group E-Voucher ("E-Voucher") for each Successful Referral.

  5. The qualifying period for this Promotion is based on Referral's NTUC Union Membership application date.

  6. The E-Voucher will be sent to the Member's email address as recorded in NTUC's database, four (4) weeks after promotion end date. For instance, if the qualifying period is from 1 January 2024 to 29 February 2024, the E-Voucher will be sent to the Member’s email address by 31 March 2024. Please note that it is the Member’s responsibility to update NTUC if there has been a change in his/her email address.

  7. A “Successful Referral” is made when an NTUC Union Member introduces a Contact who completes and submits his/her NTUC Union Membership online application at NTUC's website at www.ntuc.org.sg/membership and indicates the Referral Code on the online application form within each of the promotion period. In order for the Member to qualify for the E-Voucher, the Member’s Contact must become a paying NTUC Union Member within 1 month from the closing date of the promotion. For instance, if the qualifying period is from 1 January 2024 to 29 February 2024, a Contact must become a paying NTUC Union Member by 31 March 2024. In addition, the Contact must not cancel his/her NTUC Union Membership within three (3) months prior to the Qualifying Period and must not be in arrears of his/her membership fees.

  8. If more than one member introduces the same contact, only the member whose referral number is indicated in the approved application will be awarded the E-Voucher.

  9. There is no limit to the number of contacts that a Member can introduce.

  10. NTUC's decision on all matters relating to the Promotion, including the time of receipt of the NTUC Union Membership Referral Programme Application Form, is final.

  11. NTUC reserves the right to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time at its discretion and without prior notice. These terms and conditions shall prevail over the contents of any brochure or other promotional material advertising the Promotion.
