NTUC Assistant Secretary-General Melvin Yong addressed worker concerns during the Budget Debate in Parliament, acknowledging rising employment anxieties and cost of living.

 

He highlighted key initiatives to alleviate these fears: Calling on the private and civil sectors to help ease cost of living pressures, and expanding the Progressive Wage Model into other sectors while enhancing the Career Progression Model.
