Muslims can look forward to breaking fast with complimentary snacks and beverages from FairPrice supermarkets during Ramadan.

FairPrice Group (FPG) continues their 16-year tradition of offering Muslim customers refreshments 30 minutes before and after Iftar, the meal observed after evening prayers.

Over 60,000 Iftar snack packs chockful of items like dates, biscuits and drinks will be distributed to Muslim customers across 61 stores islandwide from today till 9 April 2024. The packs are available while stocks last.

FPG will also organise fun-filled activities to bring out the kampung spirit amidst the festive season.

Two Hari Raya Block Parties will be held at Bedok North and Bukit Batok, respectively, on 20 April. Over 300 halal bentos will be distributed so residents can bond over a shared meal.

Other highlights include festive games, a photo booth, and food sampling. Partygoers can also enjoy a free henna painting session courtesy of FPG with a minimum spend of $20 in a single transaction at the FairPrice on Wheels truck.

Hari Raya celebrants can also look out for festive packet giveaways, mini-Ramadan Bazaars in the community, a lucky draw and in-store and online promotions.

Shoppers will be happy to note that the discounts on Ramadan and Hari Raya essentials will run until 17 April, ensuring they have everything they need for a memorable celebration.

“Ramadan is a time for compassion, reflection, and communal gathering, and we understand its significance for the Muslim community and Singaporeans.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to support our Muslim customers through our community engagement during this period and remain committed to keeping the season’s essentials within reach for all,” said FairPrice Group CEO Vipul Chawla.
