Save That Pen was started in 2013 to create an avenue to recycle and donate pens for students in need, and also, to encourage the reuse of pens through refills. Join them in their vision of “zero waste living”.
Save That Pen came about during a cleaning session in an NUS student clubroom, when three friends realised that the pens being tossed away could still be used, or reused with refills. Without a way to recycle these pens, the three were led to reflect upon our culture of consumption.
With a vision of “zero waste living”, Save That Pen aims to:
create an avenue to donate used pens for students in need
encourage the reuse of pens by use of pen refills
translate the message of sustainability into the daily lives of both donors and recipients of the donated pens.
