Abstract

Climate change has brought about huge shifts in production and consumption patterns globally. This study examines the role of labour unions in ensuring a Just Transition as industries shift towards a green economy, providing a unique Tripartite strategy with employers, governments and unions. We look at 10 strategic recommendations for the Labour Movement in the two main areas of building greater partnerships and expanding existing Labour Movement activities, such as exploring deeper collaborations with employers, organisations and academia partners.
