Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)

UTAP is a training benefit for NTUC Union Members. As an NTUC Union member, you can enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support, capped at $250 every year. Members aged 40 and above can enjoy higher funding support of up to $500 every year through Enhanced UTAP.

UTAP supports courses that help NTUC members strengthen their employability skills. You may search for the course of your interest here.

 

  • Click ‘Skills Upgrade Available’ then ‘Search Courses’ to view the list of courses supported under UTAP. Do note that only courses taken within the supported period (i.e. between Effective Date & Expiry Date) are eligible for UTAP.

 

To apply for UTAP claim, simply login to your U Portal account to submit the UTAP claim application.

 

  • Go to 'E-services' at the home page and select 'UTAP Application'. NTUC Union Members must submit their claim within 6 months after course ends. Late applications will be rejected.

To check on the status of your claim, login to your U Portal account. 

Go to 'E-services' at the home page and select “UTAP application”. From here, you will be able to check on your claim status if your application has been submitted successfully.

  • Last 4 characters of your NRIC (last 3 digits and alphabet)
  • Full Name (as printed on NRIC)
  • Full Course Title
  • Name of Training Institution
  • Course Start and End dates.

NTUC LearningHub Learning eXperience Platform (LXP)

LXP is a subscription-based online learning mobile application, where you can access over 75,000 courses from over 150 categories.
