Professor of Labor Studies & Employment Relations

Paula B. Voos is a Professor of Labor Studies & Employment Relations at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Recent publications concern union representation of graduate student employees.  Prior research involves U.S. union organizing, the determinants of union bargaining power, treatment of sexual harassment claims in arbitration, and labor management cooperation programs.  She has served on various state and federal commissions, regarding minimum wages, pensions, public sector bargaining, and needed labor law reform. A past president of the Labor and Employment Relations Association, she earned a PhD in Economics from Harvard, where she was a student of John Dunlop.
