NTUC's Training and Placement Ecosystem (TPE) aims to support the upgrading of workers and transformation of businesses, for a stronger Singapore.
Since 2019, the formation of Company Training Committees (CTCs) has enabled companies to utilise the NTUC ecosystem for business operations and workforce transformation.
To support the CTCs, NTUC collaborates with companies on the Operation & Technology Roadmap (OTR) process. This process maps out the trends and drivers impacting the business and new products, services, technology, manpower and other resources necessary to stay relevant into the future. Through the CTC platform, companies can leverage the CTC Grant managed by NTUC's Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) and other NTUC, government and industry ecosystem support and schemes to redesign jobs, upskill workers, hire and retain workers and upgrade overall enterprise capabilities.
NTUC’s e2i and NTUC LearningHub (LHUB) support companies and workers in job matching and skills upgrading. Additionally, the Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute (OTCi) has strengthened labour-management partnership through customised programmes.
