LawWorks Legal Clinics

What is it

The LawWorks legal clinics is a service provided under the collaboration between NTUC and Pro Bono SG to assist NTUC union members with their personal legal issues and matters.

Who can apply

Complimentary only for NTUC union members

If you have not sought any legal advice on the same matter previously

If you do not already have a lawyer

If this is for your own matter (i.e. not on behalf of spouse or family member, etc.)

If this is not for business, corporate or investment-related matters

If you have not applied for the LAP for the same matter

Type of assistance

You may consult a volunteer lawyer for basic advice via the monthly legal clinic for a complimentary legal session for 20 minutes. If you need further assistance, you may wish to engage a lawyer of your choice and apply for the LAP.

Legal Assistance Panel (LAP)

What is it

The LAP is an initiative providing NTUC union members with cost- effective and easy access to a panel of law firms in the following areas:

Wills, Estate and Probate Matters;

Employment Matters;

General Corporate and Commercial Matters; and

Matrimonial and Criminal Matters.

Who can apply

Only NTUC union members

Must have no arrears at the time of application

If this is for your own matter (i.e. not on behalf of spouse or family member, etc.)

If you have not already engaged a lawyer for your matter 

 

Type of assistance

You may engage a lawyer from the law firm to assist you in your legal matter. If you engage the lawyer, you must pay the firm’s rates.
