What Is It

The NTUC U Care Back To School (BTS) Vouchers Programme is one of NTUC-U Care Fund’s core assistance programmes which aims to help eligible union members defray the cost of their children’s school expenses for the new school year.

Each successful applicant will receive a booklet of U Care Back To School Vouchers worth $125 for each eligible school-going child. Limit of one booklet per eligible child.  

Who Is Eligible

Members must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Members must have at least 6 months of continuous paid-up union/association membership and must not be in arrears
  • Total Monthly Gross Household Income of $3,000 and below;
    OR
    Per Capita Income of $750 and below if gross household income exceeds $3,000
  • Member’s child/children must be attending school at an eligible educational institution in Singapore as follows:
    - Kindergarten 1 or 2
    - Government / Government-aided / Independent Schools (Primary or Secondary) under the Ministry of Education (MOE)
    - Junior Colleges; Institute of Technical Education; Millenia Institute; Polytechnics;
    OR
    - MOE-registered Special Education Schools

 

What Is It

NTUC Gift is a group insurance policy exclusively for members of NTUC affiliated unions and association. All union members who are 65 years and below are automatically covered against death and total & permanent disability (TPD) of up to $40,000. Union leaders are eligible for double the sum assured. Union members’ spouses below 65 years old are also covered against death and TPD. Eligible members aged 65 years and above can opt for extension of coverage with payment of a token fee*.

* The token fee has been waived until 2017

Who Is Eligible

Members who are 16 to 65 years of age (including spouses below the age of 65, i.e. before their 65th birthday) and who have at least 6 months of continuous paid-up union/association membership.

What Is It

The NTUC U Stretch Vouchers Programme is one of NTUC-U Care Fund’s core assistance programmes which aims to provide relief to eligible union members by helping to stretch their dollar on daily necessities.

Each successful applicant will receive:

  • $100 worth of vouchers if members has dependent(s) staying in the same household in Singapore
    OR
    $50 worth of vouchers if member does not have dependent(s) staying in the same household in Singapore

Who Is Eligible

Members must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Members must have at least 6 months of continuous paid-up union/association membership and must not be in arrears

For Members with dependents staying in the same household in Singapore:

  • Total Monthly Gross Household Income of $3,000 and below;
    OR
    Per Capita Income of $750 and below if gross household income exceeds $3,000

For Members with no dependents staying in the same household in Singapore

  • Monthly gross personal income of $1,450 and below
