DREAM. BELIEVE. ACHIEVE

In the lead up to the Future Leaders Summit, our panel shares their thoughts and takeaways from last year’s programme.

Joreis Ong, Service Relationships Manager

The Future Leaders Summit 2014 proved to be an eye-opening experience. It showed me how different issues are tackled and managed in different industries. Ultimately, I learnt that it is about being able to bring out the best outcome suited for each unique industry. One of the most memorable events was also having the opportunity to meet accomplished individuals whose life experiences inspired me to spur my own growth and learning further.

Muhd Fuadi Bin Rahmat, Lecturer

I had the invaluable opportunity to meet with and listen to motivational speakers at last year’s Future Leaders Summit. They had taught me that effective communication was key to success, both inside and outside work. One also needs to harness the power of positive thinking and to be resilient in the face of setbacks.

Sharon Cheng, Legal Counsel

Firstly, I learned about resilience – never giving up, and having the perseverance to carry on, and always believing in oneself. I also learned that one should keep focus and continually build up your skills in the right industry. Nothing is impossible and there are many roads to success!

Lim Tze Qi, Human Resource

One of the main takeaways I had from last year’s summit was that there is always a problem to a solution if we are willing to think outside the box. That being said, I also learnt that in life, there are two kinds of outcomes – favourable and unfavourable. It is up to us to not give up and stay resilient in the face of such challenges and to keep striving for our dreams.
